The 2012 My Bright Idea Challenge is designed to encourage the broader LAUSD community to submit new and creative ideas on how the District can save money and operate more efficiently during these challenging economic times.

All submissions will be reviewed by a District panel and the top student, employee and parent finalists will move forward in the competition and have their ideas posted to the challenge website.

All LAUSD students, employees and parents will have the ability to vote for their favorite ideas.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
As we go through changes, there is a fair amount of tension involved. Preparing for change is an important part of managing these transitions. LAUSD is committed to providing assistance for employees through the EAP. All active employees and their dependents are eligible to receive free confidential counseling benefits through the United Behavioral Health (UBH). There is no charge for up to three face-to-face sessions with an EAP professional counselor. The EAP offers:
